| Dear Praying Friends, Grace Baptist Church Thanks to all that have been praying for our church under the tent. We continue to see new people come and visit each week. Also, adults and children are being saved. God has given us several young men who have recently been saved. We praise the Lord for their willingness to learn the Bible and be faithful to discipleship lessons. Horseshoe Ministry I have only ever seen three horses in the whole country of Uganda, but one of our young men bought us the game of horseshoes. I had to explain to him what they were! Anyway, the young men here love to play it. So we regularly have several men from our church here playing horseshoes, often until it's too dark to even see. It is a great chance to bond with the people, and it's one sport that I can actually compete with them in. (I know you find it hard to believe that I am not much competition in soccer)! We also would like to start a volleyball program for the youth in the near future. Ugandans love to play volleyball, and it would be a great tool for ministry here. Safety The road that we live on is very narrow, and very busy. I estimated that at certain times of the day there are more than 800 people that walk, bike, or motorcycle past our house in one hour. This leads to many accidents. As we were walking back to our house from church services last week, I heard someone getting "knocked" by a van. I ran some 50 yards and saw the man. His face was covered in blood, because the van drove over him and his head was hit by the axle. They took the man to the hospital for treatment, but it was a reminder to me that God is watching over us, and I thank each of you for every prayer for safety that you have brought before the Lord for us. Furlough Seems hard to believe, but we will be in the US in less than a year from now. We are currently booking meetings for Fall of 2009 and Spring of 2010. If you would like us to visit your church during that time please email us at nwright@bimi.org Prayer Requests - More souls saved - More disciples of Jesus made - Daily safety - New Wright due in February Thanks for your prayers, Nate, Sara, Andrew, Joseph, Susanna, and ?
